Strangeworks is working with our Quantum Syndicate member Rigetti to help bring Backstage Pass members on-demand access to its superconducting quantum processors and quantum machine learning applications.

Strangeworks is currently accepting applications for both teams and individuals who are looking to perform research that will utilize the systems available via this ticket. We will be awarding a limited number of tickets for use in 2023, so be sure to get your applications in early.

What to Expect

Successful applicants will be eligible for up to $10,000 in credits for on-demand access to Rigetti processors available via Strangeworks and/or may also apply for access to Rigetti’s customized quantum convolutional “quanvolutional” neural network implementation.

Rigetti plans to prioritize awards to users with an interest in quantum machine learning for enterprise applications, including but not limited to those interested in leveraging Rigetti’s quanvolutional neural network method.

Rigetti’s quanvolutional neural network application is designed to enhance image and video analysis by adding quantum-enhanced features to an existing data set for use by classical neural networks. This method is potentially well-suited for simplifying follow-on machine learning processing, since it may require less data and fewer parameters to train the classical model. Quanvolutional neural networks show particular promise for exploring applications in image and video analysis, with applications such as medical classification and disease detection, climate and weather modeling, time series and financial prediction, and more.

All users of the platform will be required to abide by Rigetti’s standard terms and conditions and may be required to sign additional non-disclosure agreements with Rigetti. By applying for and accepting the Rigetti BSP ticket, applicants understand that they will be required to provide select feedback and insights to Strangeworks and Rigetti during the program and may be asked to engage in joint marketing or communications initiatives.
